Description
Lifeboat along with associated davit arms, counterweights & cradle. All items must be taken. Lifeboat is an open vessel with an inboard motor currently located at Ports of Auckland. (Collection point to be confirmed with MIT)

Built 1970, it is a Petter Engine . Lister Petter PH2 2 1322 3.44 X 4.33 18 @ 2200 Air 571 lb Diesel. The engine has very low hours as only used about 10 days per year for training, tested working.
Marine Survey expired 1 March 2020. It was not renewed initially due to Covid and then subsequently not renewed when the decision was made a year ago to sell.
The Lifeboat has been taken out of the water and tested since that time, Motor is operational, Rudder is operational, Davits are operational.
The lifeboat also comes with the following items: New steel wire rope for davits, Lifeboat support cradle on rollers, 6 – 8 x Oars, Fire Extinguisher, Life Buoy, Anchor, Life Jackets, Miscellaneous Tools – tool box, hand tools, flares, signal horn, first aid kit, torches, grease gun, etc.
Davit, frame, counterweight arrangement. Total weight of the frame, etc is approx 20T.
Lifeboat dimensions are 7.30m long x circa 2.5m wide. Weight = 2,850kg
There is a cradle on rollers that comes with the lifeboat.
Deconstruction of Davits and Transportation of Davits/Boat is responsibility of the Purchaser.
